“Daddy, what did I do wrong?”
Threaten to beat it out of me
For the last time
Drive me down, drive me down
“Daddy, why are you driving so fast?”
Threaten to kill yourself because of me
For the last time
All I remember is that frown on your face
But the words you would say were erased
All I recall are the tears that I cried
It's just that sometimes I wish I knew why
It's just that...
Sometimes you're breaking me down
Sometimes it doesn't feel like you're dead
Sometimes you're still around
Sometimes I hear your voice in the back of my head
If only I knew what it says
Is all wrong
If only I knew you were wrong
For the last time
Leaving me, leaving me
“Daddy, please, I'm begging you to stay”
Now walk away
